Hi, I am Sylva. 

I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN), Culinary Nutrition Expert (CNE)

and certified yoga teacher based in Ottawa, Canada. I am passionate about helping people with their health challenges through nutrition, yoga and meditation.

My interest in nutrition originally grew through the goal of healing my auto-immune disorder without using pharmaceuticals. Over the years I learned about nutrition and discovered that cooking whole food from scratch does not have to be time consuming or complicated and that is what I want to share with you. Since I shifted to mindful plant based eating I have healed from my autoimmune disorder.

Now I want to help others on their healing journey. I use my yoga and meditation training to teach  you about mindful  cooking and eating, because it does make a big difference. 

I have great passion for cooking and plant-based eating. I enjoy encouraging clients to incorporate more plant-based meals into their diet. I love to show clients that plant-based meal can be easy to make, nutritious, economical and delicious at the same time.

A holistic approach takes into consideration the body, mind and spirit. We can heal ourselves through natural whole food, positive attitude and mindfulness.

My goal as a holistic nutritionist, culinary expert and yoga teacher is to be the best possible coach to meet your health needs and happiness.

Holistic Nutrition

Holistic nutrition focuses on a natural approach to a healthy diet and considers the individual as a whole, including all aspects of his/her lifestyle. This natural approach incorporates emotional, spiritual and physical health to create a state of well-being for optimum health.

The main focus in holistic nutrition is an individual approach as each person is unique and we have different needs and likes. What might be a beneficial food for one person might be detrimental for another.

As a Registered Holistic Nutritionists (RHN) I am professionally trained in natural nutrition and my primary function is to educate individuals about the benefits and health impacts of optimal nutrition. I am qualified to work with clients to identify their nutritional imbalances, and design personalized diet and lifestyle plans for wellness.

Culinary Expertise

As a Culinary Nutritional Expert I can demonstrate basic cooking techniques and share the health benefits of the natural foods. I am trained in practical, everyday, natural cooking,  as well as the therapeutic properties of foods we eat and how we prepare them.
